The kitten Boudoir is known by many names such as, the girls room, the babies room, the kitten room, the delivery room and even my bedroom….well only when I am sleeping in there with one of the girls. About 2 weeks before our girls are due to have their babies, we bring them inside and settle them down.
The room looks totally different when we are expecting the babies. It is quiet and relaxing, with very few toys around. But as soon as the babies are old enough it becomes a fun room for all of them and I spend hours just sat watching them explore and play with each other.
Oh I just thought of another name for the room…Lost time, because that is exactly what happens, time flies by and you realise you have just spent a whole afternoon just watching the babies having fun. The babies leave this room when they are around 6-7 weeks old and then they come downstairs and become part of the family. They always have access to the room but they seem to enjoy running around the house and getting into all sorts of mischief.
